Job Overview
Procurement Officers play a critical role in ensuring organizations acquire goods and services efficiently and effectively.
You’ll work closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely updates, quick resolutions, and consistent customer satisfaction across all touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure best value and quality.
- Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers.
- Manage tendering processes, evaluate bids, and recommend suppliers
- Create and manage purchase orders, monitor inventory levels, and optimize procurement processes.
- Analyze costs, identify savings opportunities, and optimize procurement processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 1-2 years of procurement experience, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and systems.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) is a plus.
